So here we are... April 2010...
In a nutshell-
- The landlords from the restuarant sued us for back rent (even though we agreed to pay it) and future rent (which we did not agree to pay, due to fraud on their part)
- My husband got a job at Bentley's Bistro in Fresno, where he worked for 3 weeks. He told the owner that it was poorly managed and would go under if they did not let people lead in their own depts... (it closed in 2009)
- He then was recruited to work for Dai Bai Dang in Fresno, where he was a rock star. Dealt with sexual harrassment cases, discrimination issues, embezlement, theft, chaos and losses. He raised sales, decreased losses, changed the menu, did marketing and trained staff in less than 5 months. 5 months later, they sold and the new owners did not hire him.
- So June 2009 my husband was laid off.
- October we moved to Dinuba, CA, because my husband had still not found a job and unemployment had not begun. The properity is 5 acres and we, as a family, take care of the property in return for housing.
- March 2010 they asked us to move, because we are acting like directors, even though that is what we were brouhgt on for.
- April 2010, Bill starts looking for jobs all over California again, since we have to find a place to move to.. and have no money, so have to wait for Bill to get a job
- April 2010, Bill has had 2 interviews for El Torito in Santa Barbara and has his 3rd this Friday in Fresno with the Regional VP.
- April 2010, Bill also had an interview with a restaurant in Oxnard and we are waiting for a response.
So with all that said. I am sitting here in the Beukers Beach house. All are asleep and I am taking the time to process and think. The beach house went into escrow in February... we were all devestated... prayed it would fall through... and it did... praise God!!!
I need to be more proactive in posting my thoughts, for me and my kids... Right now I do not have internet at my home, so I am limited... When we move, I will be more proactive about writing my thoughts and insights from the Lord.
